Candle Care Items - Candle Snuffer, Wick Dipper and Wick Trimmer

The secret to having a candle last a very long time is proper care of the candle. With the Candle Care Kit, this allows everyone to have healthy candles and reduces the risk of uncontrolled wicks burning. 
 
The Candle Snuffer is used to extingush all kinds of candles. For those candles which are not in contains, ie pillar candles, without blowing wax all over and reducing the amount of smoke being products from flame extinguishment. By being placed over the candle flame, the snuffer creates a vacuum which draws the flame into the bell-shaped chamber. This then uses all the oxygen in the chamber starving the flame. Available individually or in a kit
 
The Wick Dipper is the best moth of extingush your candle if it is in a container. By using the wick dipper, the lit wick is dipped into the liquid wax, which has melted, and then raised out again. This starves the flame of oxygen and then coats the wick in a thin layer of wax. When the candle is relit, this think layer of wax will slowly melt, increasing the life of the candle. This method will also help to prevent a fragile, burnt wick from breaking when being relit. A massive struggle is when the wick breaks too small to light causing the candle to be useless. The extra layer of wax on the wick provides strength and reduces this risk. Available individually or in a kit
 
The Wick Trimmer is an amazing way to make sure the wick doesnt get too long. With a shorter wick bruning, the intensity of the flame is lower which allows for a longer burn time of the candle. As well, with a small flame, the risk of fire hazard is lower as the flame does not have more wick to burn. It is reccomended the candle is extigushed every 3-4 hours. Once cooled, the wick and be trimmed and relit. Trimming the wick will also recude the amount fo debris in the candle leaving it looking better. on average, trimming the wick will increase the life of the candle by 25%. Do NOT use the wick trimmer while the wick is still on fire. Allow the wax to cool and harden before using. This will help to ensure there is enough wick left to relight while not having hot wick fall. Available individually or in a kit
